Luke’s background is in Coastal and Environmental Engineering. Studied at the University of South Alabama where he found his calling when first seeing the Coastal Engineering wave pool Laboratory and immediately trying to come up with how to make better surfable waves in Alabama..

After college continued working in the environmental and civil Engineering field in Mobile and Baldwin County areas. Then switched gears and worked for a State department and DOD Contractor doing engineering for new construction of DOS and DOD projects, taking him to over 28 countries around the world until finally having an opportunity to come back and set out on a mission he is most passionate about, sustainable waterfront innovations and environmental shoreline restoration.
